School Committee

Definition
A school committee is a group of elected or nominated members responsible for managing and overseeing the activities of a school, and to provide it with community support. There are multiple forms of School Committees, such as School Management Committee SMC, Village Education Committee VEC and School Development Committee SDC. (Sujatha, 2011).
