Definition
Assessment tool designed to measure basic maths and numeracy skills. ‘It focuses on the foundations of maths, such as number identification, quantity discrimination (larger and smaller), missing-number identification, word-problem solving, addition and subtraction, shape recognition, and pattern extension’ (IIEP-UNESCO Learning Portal, 2018).
